Eh? Where is the new blog template design that were mentioned before? Well...the plan was kinda pull off. No matter what xml template I use, namely workaholic, touch river, view port, masipag and much more (those are really nice blogspot template, google it and see), it just does not feel right with my blog. So back to the simplistic design then haha.

Birthday Girl

On 20th of August 2010, is a very special day for my girl friend.She turned 21 years old on that very special day. In other word she already has wings on her back and is ready to make her maiden jump to fly in the sky haha. She came to KL on that day so I decided to bring her to have dinner at a very authentic dining place, Tao........

Well Tao is a Asian themed buffet restaurant. Its located at the newly developed Sunway Giza in Bandar Utama and the place is very easy to find if you drive. More info on the restaurant can be found at http://www.tao-cuisine.com/

We make a booking earlier to prevent disappointment when we reach there. Tao was previously well known to be a very reputable restaurant and has provided high-standard services at their branches in Pulau Pinang. And things are on par on this newly opened branch also. As soon as we arrive we were greeted by the helpful staff which lead us to the reception desk. After few confirmation on the booking made earlier then we were bought to our seat and then a very friendly waiter approached to assist us. First we ordered our drink and there are a few variety of drinks available, and one of my favorite is the jasmine tea, not to mention it's bottomless too. You should try it if you go there. And then we were given choices to either order food listed on the menu, or to self service on the food prepared at the serving table.

We were confused at first, don't know what to choose or what to eat first. But then the waiter approached us again, an suggested us to try the restaurant recommended top-ten cuisine. Sounds great to us so we give it a try on that. And in about just 5 mins, the first food arrives...

The scallop. Well I can't remember what is it called but it is the best food that the restaurant make. It has cheese and mustard (probably) grated lightly with peppers topped on the finely grilled, juicy and tender scallop. Its a very delicious and I remembered that this is the food that I ate the most on that night. All I can say is that this is the restaurant's trademark and everyone should try this, I mean must try this at any cost!!

We actually ordered a few plates of the wonderfully delicious scallop after that. And while enjoying the unique taste of the scallop, the rest of the top-ten list food eventually prepared and served (almost forgot about the remaining 9 foods haha). Next we received the lightly-sauced abalone, which was fairy nice.

And followed up is the Lamb Teriyaki. The lamb were cooked nicely with the meat is quite tender but yet the juiciness of the meat is still retained, splendid.

And not to mention Salmon Hiroyaki, which is also one of my favorite dishes. The salmon were cooked on hot plate, sizzled with lemon juice and olive oil with lightly applied butter and grated with chives, sesame seeds and onion leaves. The taste of it is wonderful and I will definitely recommend it.

And then we received the remaining top-ten food which will require me days to explain how delicious it is (which obviously I am going to skip that). Lets allow the pictures to tell the story shall we?

While my girl friend and my friends were enjoying the top-ten dishes (which I didn't take photo for the remaining two), I started to enjoy the authentic design of the restaurant interior. Its's very well designed, the ambient is controlled nicely with the right amount of light together with the soothing music playing in the back, it create a very unique dining experience.

The self-serving food are arranged in a very simple but elegant manner. And all of the food are replenished quite fast. In other words the food will not finish and you don't have to wait for the food to be prepared. Nice...

There is also the teppanyaki section where we can choose the ingredient ourself and placed it in the bowl with our table's number plate clipped on it, and then just wait for it to be served to our table. It's just that easy. The teppanyaki were prepared very fast and the food taste great too.

And the results are:

One more thing worth mentioning about this restaurant is about their seafood. Well your buffet experience won't be complete unless you tried their seafood. And trust me, they are one of the best that I ever eaten before. The fresh oyster, for instance, is very very fresh. This oyster does not have the kind of smell (I don't know how to describe) compared to oyster offered at other restaurant and the only taste it has is freshness. Another thing worth trying is their nigiri. As a salmon lover, I think I had two plates full of salmon nigiri. It's really really fresh and the salmon is cut so precisely so that the meat won't break easily or splitted. (do note cutting salmon fish requires high level of skills) Nigiris such as kani, inari, ebi, unagi and much more are available too and they also taste good and very fresh, but still the salmon nigiri really triggered my taste bud on that night (other than the grilled scallop haha).

My girlfriend's sister bought a cake for her and we sang her birthday songs. We sang quite loud and I think we are the winner among all, as there are quite a number of groups celebrating birthday for their friends too. And it's photo taking time...

And then we moved on to the dessert session haha. There are quite a range of desserts prepared and all seems to be very tasty. Too bad that most of us were too full to try all of it. But it still feel great that there is so much to choose from there.

At this point, almost all of us have reached the limit, as we are so darn full. But there is alot more to eat haha. By that time it's almost approaching the restaurant's closing time so we decided to take a few photos around the restaurant.

At the end, we left the restaurant at about 12.30 am (as we took quite a number of photos haha). I am so glad that my girl friend was happy during that night and we were also very satisfied with the food and services of the restaurant. Another trip again in the future? Definitely a yes to me!

A new look

Well it has been a very long time since the last time I touched my blog (and can't even remember when was the last I open it haha..). So I decided to give it a new look. Google-ed xml templates for blog and found a few interesting and nice one. After trial and error finally made up my mind and here it is, my new blog. Pentax K-x

Why Pentax? Because from my point of view, it's the best. It's able to produce images closest to film like quality. It's able to capture high percentage of details compared to others and most importantly, it's very affordable and I like the design haha. There are actually 100 colors and styles combination for this camera but too bad it's only available in Japan. In Malaysia only 3 color variants is available which is white, black and navy blue.

A very special day for me...

Wake up early in the morning as usual, with a big smile on my face, after looking at the calender hanged on the wall :)

After making up myself into an acceptable condition, I started the preparation for tonight's simple diner. My mom prepared some simple foods, my sweetheart came early to help, and me incharge of the dirty job (bbq haha)

Invited a few friends, both from seconday school and uni, which haven't met for quite some time, all looked completly different, since the last time we met. :p

Everyone seems delighted to meet each, and kept talking while enjoying the food prepared...

And then it's time for the candle blowing ceremony, another surprised appeared before me. I received two big cakes this time, one is from my family, and another one is from my sweetheart.

My sweetheart hand baked a love-shaped cake with chocolate topping filled with lots of fruits and love. Which kept me smiling for quite some time :D

And they sang 2 versions of birthday songs for me, and I made a wish and blow the candle...

And then it's time to take pictures with everyone :)

Hot Air Balloon

2nd of August was the day where I rode the hot air balloon for the first time. The chance appeared to me when I bought the Kaspersky Internet Security solution during the last PC Fair. It's one exciting experienced for my friend Jian Shun and I who went together in the morning on that day.

Some of you might thought that the hot air balloon went up high in the sky which you guys will say "damn you are such a lucky guy Luffy!!". But the truth is it isn't. The hot air balloon were only allowed to ascend up to 3 stories high. (Quite disappointed haha...). I just only found out that hot air balloon can only be controlled to ascend and descend, but not in left or right. There is no device to control the direction of the hot air balloon (unless you install one) which mean directing the balloon where to go is hard and will be near impossible if there is wind blowing. But nevertheless it's still a nice experience for me as I was able to ride it for the first time in my life. ^^

Another surprised!! Well it's not like what I wish for (Pentax DSLR, Sony laptop etc...) But our family has another newborn tortoise. Well this time we decided to name him Jacko (because the tortoise was born on the day Michael Jackson was buried). Well the tortoise is the most active one that we ever see. Since it hatch out from the egg, it never stop moving around even when we place inside a container. I think this tortise like to explore alot.

Well let's talk something about this tortoise. It's species is unknown to me for now as I can't find any information regarding to that tortoise. But back in my hometown which is Kelantan, we usually call it "Kura Katuk". Reason? Because when the tortoise hide it self, it will cover up completly with it's moveable shell underneeth and there is not even a gap for you to peek inside.. Its like an armoured housing the tortoise has. And when the tortoise hide itself from the outside world it will be like that even for days. And the old folks said that even when we knock the tortoise several times it still will not come out, that's why the village people call it "kura katuk".

My dad said that it's his first time able to hold and see such a small "kura katuk". He said this kind of tortoise is very rare and very hard to find. He said that during his exploration days in the Gua Musang junlgle (now known as National Park) with grandpa since young, he only able to sight empty shells which left by the dead tortoise. Even my grandfather who is a full time explorer also only seen two living "kura katuk" till today. So you can imagine how hard to find this tortise in wildlife.

A new member in the family

Well my mom just told me that we have a new member in our house, I thought it's a new car, or maybe a new HD TV set, or a laptop (My mom says I think too much ^^) But the truth is it's a cute little tortise. My another tortise somehow laid eggs few months ago and my dad tried to incubate the eggs by just using earth and sun power and it really works. One of the few eggs manage to hatch and here is Kukee (my sis gave her that name probably because the tortise likes cookie?)

Cervical Cancer Campaign by UTAR
Well today me and my friends (consisting of my seniors from different courses) represented Setapak campus in providing voluntary help in becoming helpers for this event that were held in PJ. It's consider one of the massive event that UTAR ever organize as many VVIP appeared today in UTAR's PJ campus. Well it's kinda a tedious day for us but it's a fun experience to enjoy.

Well as stated, it's actually about, well vervical cancer. Most of the visitors today came to have their health screening done or to take cervical cancer vaccine injection. But there are still some guys who came just to do some simple blood test and BMI test. Well next I will just let the photos do the story telling. ^^

Things ain't going well this time. I can't explain why it happened. I worked hard enough, did my best and scored the best in class. But in the end I failed to achieve anything. From other people's view the result showed that I'm lazy, useless and did not worked hard enough. But the truth is I did my best but it seems that the faith and luck is not with me all this while. It really make me feel down and lost.. Well at least my parents understand my situation and asking me not to give up, and my girl friend still being there always for me giving me her full support.. I just feel really sorry for disappointing you all, but thanks for everything that you all gave me. For now I will leave everything to God and wait patiently for miracle to happen. I really hope that everything will be back to normal, and I really hope so...

Redang Island

Well my girl friend , her sister, her brother, my friend Bao Hung and I went to Redang Island for vacation last week (from 16th to the 18th of May). We booked a 3 days 2 nights snorkeling package stay at Redang Pelangi Resort. Its kinda exciting for me because its my first time visiting an island. I shall let the photos tell the stories then ^^

We took the Transnasional express bus from Perhentian Putra Bus Station to Kuala Terengganu. From there will will need to travel futher up north to the Merang Jetty to depart the speed boat which will bring us directly to the island.

The journey was suppose to be a 7-hour long trip. But we reached in just less than 6 hours, thanks to our wonderful bus driver haha.. All I can say that we really felt the speed throughout the trip plus the ride is quite bumpy thanks to the not-so-good-condition East-West Highway. We reached at the Kuala Terengganu Bus Station at about 4 in the morning. But we have to wait until 6 for the land transfer to Merang Jetty that our resort provided. In other words we were almost bored to death for two hours there haha...

We were really tired during that morning. But when the time approaching 6 am, we began to feel the excitment waiting for us ahead. We went to the guess house of our resort where we prepare ourself for the trip to the jetty.

At 7.30 sharp, we took the coach provided by the resort and headed to the Merang Jetty which will be another 45 mins journey for us.

We were quite surprised as there were also many people who actually going to Redang on the same day and same time with us. Thus we have to wait for quite some time for our turn to depart the speed boat. After a 35 mins wait, its our turn at last..

We were required to place heavy object at the front of the boat to balance the weight as when the boat is at high speed, it will tend to tilt upwards.

After 15 mins, we leaved the mainland and entering the deep sea area...

After 20 mins of journey on the water, we was able to spot the island from far. But at the same time the sky started to turn dark and strong wind started to blow. The navigator informed us that there will be a heavy rain up ahead us and asked us to prepare. We have to stuff our luggage into plastic bag to prevent it from getting wet.

As predicted, the rain came and its really scary. We can't see a thing during that time. We lost the view of the island and our sense of direction seems to be lost (thats us only but not the navigator haha). As the rain pour we continue to travel at high speed towards our destination and we were all wet. Its kinda painful when the rain hit us because it felt like thousand of pins poking us. But after 15 mins of struggle with mother nature, we at last escaped the storm and reached the island. The only thing I can say that time was it's so beautiful. The water is also amazingly crystal clear which we can also see directly to the bottom of the sea.

After about 45 mins travel on the sea, we reached the beach where our resort is located. Its our first time to see such a white sand. And the beach area is so clean. Wow Redang is really a heaven for us haha...

It's a new experience for us to encounter a storm when traveling to the island. But we are glad that we reached safely. We head straight to our resort. After check-in, a very friendly resort staff, Ms Irene gave us a short briefing about our vacation. The resort has a very simple surrounding which has the kind of relaxing atmosphere. We stayed at a triple room as that is the only room we was able to get. After than we head to our room to have a short rest.

After that we head for our first meal on the island, lunch!! The food at the resort was served in buffet style. Overall the food was not bad and we quite enjoyed the meal. There is also a 24-hours free-flow of beverage like tea and coffee, which mean that they will provide the drink all the time and we can drink as much as we like.

After lunch we head to the beach to rest. Actually all of us can't wait to put ourselves in the crystal clear water. But we have to wait as we were still full hehe.

After a short "warm up" in the water, we head to the snorkeling center to get our snorkeling equipment. After that we had a briefing from the friendly staff about the way to use the thing. Then we were ready to go to our first snorkeling trip.

We have to wade into the water in order to get onto the boat. The purpose was actually to get us wet first haha...

We reached at the location and we saw many just jump straight into the water from the boat. But since its the first time for us, we were a little scared. And after we get into the water and look down, we just only realize that the water was actually about 5 meters deep! We tend to get panic sometime but we stick together and after awhile we kinda enjoy it. As soon as we look down, we saw the beautiful view of the coral. Its just so amazing to look at such secenery.

Some of you might wonder why am I able to take photos on the sea and not afraid of getting my camera wet. The reason is that I bought a underwater casing for my faithful Canon A550 compact camera. The casing was known as DiCaPac and I bought it online for 99 ringgit. The casing allow me to do some simple underwater photography (which is my first time) for up to 5 meters deep! Amazing!! We snorkeled for about 2 hours then they as us to get on the boat as its time to go home. We were quite exhausted actually as we were kept swept away by the strong current and have to use all our energy just to swim back to the boat. But it's one amazing experience for us ^^

After that we head back to our room to have a short rest. All of us was really tired as first, we didnt get enough sleep and second, the snorkeling is really exhausting haha. But we can't wait for the socond snorkeling trip on the next day. At 7pm the dinner was served. Its also a buffet style and all I can say is that the food was really nice.

We actually heard someone said before that at Redang there is actually some blue color sand which can only be seen at night. We at first dont really believe that until we actually saw it with our very own eyes. The sand is really glowing blue when we swipe the sand. Its actually a microorganism that emit blue light when exposed to the atmosphere. Its very amazing for us to see this!

At around 2 in the morning we head back to our resort for our sleep. On the next day we woke up at 7 in the morning as we have to get ready before 9 for our second snorkeling trip. This time nasi lemak was served for our breakfast.

For our second trip we went to the marine park. We bought some bread crumbs to feed the fish as we we told that there are many marine life here. Luckily for this time its not 5 meters deep anymore so we can snorkel with much more ease in mind.

At 12 we reached back at our resort. We got ourselve cleaned and had our lunch. We really enjoyed snorkeling at the marine park as we feel we were one with the nature. We kept talking about it during our lunch ^^

At 2pm sharp we hop on the boat and head to our last snorkeling trip. We were suppose to go the an area which we can actually touch baby shark. But unfortunetly the area was closed for some reason thus we head to another area. But this time we were in the middle of deep sea. There were waves and the current was strong. And this time I think the water is more than 5 meters deep. But we were still able to view the nice coral formation there.

For this place there were not much to see except for the coral on the bottom on the sea. Thus we decided to keep taking photos of ourselves.

At around 5 we head back to our resort and that was our last snorkeling trip. We were still not statified thus we head to the beach and get wild!! Haha...

On the next day, (which is the day we have to leave the island already sob) we woke up earlier to watch the sunrise and its very amazing to see it here. Here are some of the photos that were taken by my friend, Bao Hung.

After breakfast, we head around the resort to take photos before we leave. We check out at 7.15 in the morning and the boat will be leaving the island at 8.

At around 10 we reached the mainland safely. The journey back from the island is really smooth unlike out first journey haha. Then we head to the stall nearby to buy some sorveniour and then we hop onto the bus to head back to the Kuala Terengganu Bus Station.

We reached back the the bus station at around 11. In the meantime we bought McD as our lunch.It was a memorable holiday at Redang for us as its was a totally new experience. We will be looking forward to go there again but for now, Goodbye Redang!!! :(

After 3 weeks of struggling and hard work, finally I can start to sit back myself and spend some time to update my blog. Well for now its just a brief update on what I am going to do for my next two weeks holiday:

A Trip To Zoo Negara
Went to the zoo with my classmates today. (for your info we don't have class on every Thursday) They charged us RM15 for the entrance fee. It's so expensive compare to last time which was only about Rm8++ if I not mistaken. (few years ago la hehe). Well again I will let the photos do the story telling, enjoy then...

Japanese Sushi Buffet at Tenji

Went out for a dinner with my coursemates (and it's the first time somemore) last Tuesday night. Well we went to Tenji Japanese Buffet Restaurant with is located at Mt. Kiara. Its currently having a promotion of supper buffet at only RM30++ it's very very cheap compare to the original rate which is about RM90++. The area is really nice and quite classy, you will know what I mean if you been there yourself. Back to the story, we reached there at around 9.30 pm, right on time as the promotion period starts at 9.30pm till 12am. Well i will just let the photos tell the rest of the story. ^^

Well for many people, the date 25th is a normal day for them. But for me, haha... It's very special..
Why? Well it's because that this date is actually the starting day of happiness in my life. Sweet things started on this very special date (I know I know some of you don't understand what I mean but it's okay hehe...)

Graduation
As promised, update!! hehe...

Well here are some photos taken from my gf's sis graduation ceremony. Let's make the story simple. It was an awesome night as the ceremony took place at Segi College in Damansara. The place was was fantastic and thanks to Nicholas Wong, who borrowed me his beloved DSLR (Nikon D40), I was able to capture many nice shots with ease which the photos is both important and memorable to my gf's family and me myself. Thanks alot Nic for your kindness. And here are some of the photos taken on that day (chosen 8 out from 400++ photos hehe).

I was quite impressed with the image quality produced by Nikon D40 camera. Nic borrowed me two lenses which is the kit lens (18-55mm) and a zoom lens (70-300mm VR) and both is very good in terms of sharpness and detail.

This shot above is taken at full focal length (300mm) and Nikon's VR system shows that it is capable of taking low light long focal shots excellently by compensate camera shakes.

Congratulation on all the achievement that you obtained and hope you will be successfull in the future ^^

Photography is my passion....

It is the thing that I enjoyed doing it all the time. But sadly there is many things holding me back from progressing in it. Namely not enough time (lots to focus in studies), many competitors, and the most serious one, I don't have one basic photography system (DSLR). I was actually offered to be a photographer in an event but the offer was eventually pulled back when they found out that I don't have a DSLR. haizh...never mind i will never give up. I will continue to struggle and work hard and hope one day, everyone will recognise my name is the photography world.

I really want to study in Kampar campus T^T

Why wor? There is a few reasons for it. One of it is because of *ahem* (something lar ahahaha...) and the another reason is that UTAR's Kampar campus is very nice. It is damn peaceful there and the environment is very very clean (compare to my Setapak campus here lar). I know for some who are already studying there don't like the place because no entertaiment, but I really like the surrounding there. Look at the photos below and you will know what I mean. ^^

I really wish that my course will be shifting there as soon as possible. hehe ^^

"Hey why you still stick to film photography arh?" that's the frequent question that everyone asked me whenever they see me holding my Canon EOS 300V. Why? haha...

Firstly is because film is unique. Up to now I don't think non of the current DSLR is able to match the image quality produced by a film. Films always well known for its dynamic range which till now non of the digital cams able to reach that level.

Secondly, the reason i like film is because of the rich color that it produced. I know some might say there is already some DSLR in the market that able to produce rich quality images but I am sure that it will not be as punchy as the one the films produce.

Lastly, the reason I choose films instead of digitals is because I want to capture something or someone who is special or important to me.^^ Films have a very long life-span (if you know how to take care). And because of that film is a better medium for me to capture down my sweet memories that I have throughout my life. (so that I still be able to view it back when I am old and retired already. muahahaha....)

"Wow its awesome..." That's one of the many sentences I said after participated the Rage Trailblazer in Ipoh last Saturday (19.07.08). What is that you might ask...Well this is an amazing race-like contest which is a very fun and unique game which include money management race, which placed my skills and abilities to the ultimate test in a variety of activities. Well I am not good at explaining so click here to read more about the game. hehe... Now I shall let the photos tell the stories. ^^

We (UTAR students) gathered at Kampar campus. Some came as early as 4 a.m. in the morning (actually we should gather at 6.15 but I have a friend who is too excited about the competition.haha..). We departed from Kampar at around 6.30 using UTAR bus...

We were quite worried that we cant make it on time for the registration as the counter will close at 8 sharp (if I not mistaken la). Because the time required to travel from Kampar to Ipoh is about 45 mins and we departed from Kampar at 6.45 a.m. Everyone were kinda stressed up during that time. Haha... But at last we manage to reach there few mins earlier before the registration close. All thanks to the skillful UTAR bus driver uncle. Haha...

The contestant is divided into several cluster which is represented with colors. And my partner and I were in the cream blue cluster. Oh yeah before i forgot, the race is actually consisted of two person in every team which formed a big cluster. Which mean that every contestant is in pairs. haha...And who is my partner? tadaa.....

We were quite surprised after the briefing as we only know that we are going to compete against cluster, and not against team. A twist from what we expected. haha.. After the launching and opening ceremony, the race was officially started at about 9 in the morning. (since then i dont get to take many photos as I was to enjoyed with the game.haha...)

The preliminary round ended at around 12 noon. All of us we very exhausted but we were quite happy as we really worked as a team and go through every challenge smoothly and successfully. Great work team!! Then all of the cluster gathered at the field to wait for the result whose going to the final round. Very 紧张. haha...

And out of our expectation, we were the cluster who entered the final round. Blue cluster rocks man. yahoo!!! haha... Everyone was too excited about it. Everyone were jumping here and there and screaming hysterically. haha... Immediately we headed straight to the bus waiting for us to proceed to the final round which is held in a historic town Papan. We even have police traffic escorting us throughout the jouney. Wow.....

In the final we were again divided into mini-cluster which consist of 5 teams each. So we going to compete against own team mate from now... We were given task and required to complete it in a limited time and then perform a presentation in front of the judges...

After that everyone proceed to Casuarina Hotel in Ipoh to have our dinner and perform our presentation...

We did our best in our presentation but due to some minor mistake, we only got fourth. haha....sigh...Anyway congrats to Chin Hong and the others for being the winning team. But no matter what, our team is still the best. Good job guys...

The prize giving ceremony ended at around 11 night. Although my team didnt won anything, but we are still happy and statisfied as we gained new experience and met new friends from the race. We are going to compete again next year. Watch out guys. muahaha....

Anyway I was the happiest person on that day, and I really enjoyed throughout the race. Why? haha...because I have a good partner. Yu Hwan, thanks alot for everything...

One of my friend ask me that. It's a very tough question (for me la) because i have too many things that i like. Of course the main one is photography but there is many more and some might think I'm insane because of some of the strange interest. Well, no matter what still have to answer her question (she will kill me if i don't). haha....

Well i like trees a lot, especially the very big, huge ancient trees. I can just sit under the tree and just look at it for up to few hours (so far my record is only 2 hours, don't worry). haha... I think i got this habit from my dad. (that's my dad in the photo). XD

Nature! Yeap i love mother nature a lot. Hey this one is normal what... Everyone should love mother nature. haha...

Nope thats not coffee, it's tea, and it's my favorite. (For your info if i drink coffee i will fall asleep within few minutes) haha...

And I like collecting rocks! haha...i have many collection on that, from a near-perfect round shaped rock, to a dragon like rock. Priceless item to me. haha...

My New Gal...

I bought it from ebay malaysia for just only RM320.00. Very cheap (for me lah). haha...

No no its not the bag that I bought from ebay for 320 ringgit.. That will be ridiculous.. haha... Inside is a Canon EOS 300V DATE FILM SLR (notice i bold the word). This camera is actually my dream camera when I was still in form 2 (i think). Back then it cost more than RM1K, can't afford it that time and can only always day dreaming about it. haha....

The condition of the camera is superb, I can say is totally new and will give a rating of 10/10. The seller of this camera told me that he bought this camera for his photography project (he was a photography student) and only used this camera once. This camera was rarely used but was well kept by him.

In fact this camera had the fastest auto focus and most advance autoexposure in it's class . 12 shooting modes, 7 auto focus points, 35-zone evaluative metering technology and a stainless steel lens mount made this camera an ideal SLR camera for both novice and professional photographers, including me!!! hehe...

The seller, Mr Carlos (very very friendly and honest seller) also gave me a telephoto lens (Canon Zoom Lens USM EF 100-300mm 1:4.5-5.6) for free! yay!! This lens is still in perfect condition except that there is a little fungus growth in the lens elements, but this didn't affect the image quality much.

Yeap as you can see this lens has USM (Ultra Sonic Motor) technology. It is one of Canon's well known and famous technology. I am so glad that i can own one USM lens from Canon (because it is very very expensive). Hehe...

The seller also included one UV haze filter and one Circular PL filter in the package (he is so kind...). UV filter is important for protecting the lens inner component from the harmful rays of UV from sunlight. And the Circular PL filter, or the polarizing filter is used to increase color saturation (example darken blue skies). In other words filters will enhance your image a lot.

I know I know....Some might ask me, why not Digital SLR? why film?? Well there is a few reason for that. Firstly, is I really can't afford a DSLR. I don't want to burden my family because of my own interest/hobby and let them going through hard time. And it seems like forever for me to save money to get my dream DSLR. One more thing, I'm not like you (*yes i am referring to someone*) that are rich or have friends who willing to collect money and get one DSLR for you as a birthday present. I am just a normal person having a normal life. Secondly, film camera are way better than digitals. Film can capture more details and more dynamic range. Besides, film photography is 100% pure and original photography.

Well i hope with this camera i can capture some fantastic photos. Wish me luck. Hahaha...

No no we aren't going back now, it is just that something wrong with Jeremy as he will fall asleep as soon as the car start to move...

After 45 minutes travelling on the road, we finally reached the Morib beach...

I am the first person to actually took off my shoes, and ran towards the water! hahaha...

After seeing me jumping happily in the water, Jeremy also took of his shoes and joined me together in the water.(maybe he can't resist the excitement that i am having.haha..)

Reached back Puvan's house at 5.30pm. And it quite late and we had to say goodbye to Puvan and his family. We really enjoyed on that day and really love the food that his mom cooked.

A very poisonous spider...

I came across with this gigantic tree in Gua Musang when heading back to KL. The tree is so huge, and it might be more than hundreds years old! Well i don't know why but i like trees allot. I will be excited or amazed when i see huge or gigantic trees! haha....Here is the photos of the tree that i mentioned.
